  • UK Government officials have begun using the video file sharing website YouTube to see how they can take advantage of its technology.
  • The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration now has a presence in Second Life. The NOAA’s sim, Meteroa, includes demos about the ocean and weather.
  • The engineers at Yahoo! had t-shirts printed with the ‘mash-up or shut-up’ slogan for their hack days where they mashed up varioius Yahoo! APIs with varying degrees of success.
  • The housewives’ choice tells us: Experts believe that hackers have hit the hugely popular MySpace and say the viruses in circulation can change settings, delete files, secretly track users’ movements online and even damage computers.
